Stripe Study: Heartbeat

I tend to be a planner, in weaving and in life, so my challenge to myself for the end of summer was to work my way through a warp without a plan—to improvise my way and trust that it would all work out in the end. I couldn't be more pleased with how the experiment turned out! Warpwise stripes in white and wine interact beautifully with a variety of weft colors and sequences, each one unique.

This towel has narrow stripes of brick and narrower stripes of dusty rose; from a distance, the two colors blend together into a secret third thing! Like all H&Q towels, it has a handy twill tape loop so you can easily hang it up for quick access and fast drying.

• Dimensions: 19.5" x 24.5"
• Content: 60% cotton, 40% linen
• Care: machine wash warm; do not bleach. Tumble dry warm. Medium iron if needed.
  

Please note that our weaving studio has a feline occupant. While everything is washed and kept away from Miss Cordelia and her voluminous floof after finishing, if you have severe cat allergies you may consider washing your item again before use.
