Ebb Pillow Sham in Spiced Cider

Monk's Belt is a simple but visually stunning structure made up of short floats over a background of plain weave; it's more rectilinear than its twill-based cousin, overshot, but no less fun to weave! For this pillow cover, I floated two colors of tapestry wool—a cinnamon brown and a cayenne red—over a pale yellow background. The back of the pillow form is Kona cotton with a button closure.

• Dimensions: 19" square (to fit a 20" pillow insert)
• Content: front is 100% wool (a blend of Corriedale and Columbia); back is 100% cotton
• Care: hand wash cold, dry flat; low iron if needed

Please note that our weaving studio has a feline occupant. While everything is washed and kept away from Miss Cordelia and her voluminous floof after finishing, if you have severe cat allergies you may consider washing your item again before use.
