Frozen Plums Coasters

These felted coasters, with their striking geometric patterns, are made by weaving together two separate warps and interlacing them—a magical technique known as deflected double weave. Felting double weave has a bit of a learning curve, and what was originally around sixteen coasters wound up being just these four: I didn't leave quite enough space between each coaster for them all to safely felt without falling apart. Never a dull moment!

Please note that our weaving studio has a feline occupant. While everything is washed and kept away from Miss Cordelia and her voluminous floof after finishing, if you have severe cat allergies you may consider washing your item again before use.
